A psychological thriller following the story of a family who have taken possession of a house that does not belong to them—and even assumed the surname of the original family who lived there. Clare, John, and their nine-year-old daughter, Sam, are aware of their dark past and pretend that everything is fine, presenting themselves as a family that seems almost too perfect to be true. An unsettling atmosphere, strange noises coming from above the ceiling, and cryptic conversations lead the audience to wonder what the perfect family is hiding.
