Synopsis
Antonio is a man in his seventies who lives in Milan. He has been a barber since he was ten years old. He loves his work, and it shows in the precision with which he trims his customers’ hair and beards, as well as in the almost obsessive care with which he puts away his scissors, blades, and other tools after each use. One day, a casual conversation with a very young customer becomes an opportunity for Antonio to reflect on the memory of his father. A portrait of loneliness in everyday life, set within the microcosm of a man’s profession, while he himself is immersed in the larger universe of the passage of time. "Come soli" embodies the flow of existence, suspended between the visible and the invisible; of lives that we see appearing and disappearing every day. Rays of light carrying a personal geography, shaped by gestures, glances, and, above all, memories.
